Virtual 13th GLOBE Annual Partner Meeting

Please join us for a dynamic and innovative GLOBE event that you can experience from your desktop!
On behalf of the GLOBE Program Office, our sponsors, and the GLOBE International Advisory Committee, I would like to invite you to participate in the first GLOBE Virtual Annual Meeting! Starting today (10 July) you can go to the website and sign up to share your ideas and work on GLOBE. We welcome meeting presentations as well as materials that you have prepared for use in your country or partnership! Go to the following website:

Introductions, uploads and discussion begins on 10 July 2009. Greetings and presentations from the GPO will appear on the site during the week of 27 July, with special interactive sessions planned for 3-4 August.
The Group Topic areas below are designed for you to upload documents, including presentations, classroom materials, and other items that you wish to share with the community. When items are uploaded, community members will be able to ask questions, make comments, and start discussions, just as they would at an in-person Annual Meeting. The Group areas are divided by topic and include:
Primary GLOBE
Secondary GLOBE
Higher Education GLOBE
GLOBE Climate Research
GLOBE Earth System Science Projects
GLOBE Sustainability
Later on in the conference, the GPO will upload brief video presentations for you to view online. These sessions will be similar to a plenary session at the Annual Meeting.
On 3 August, the GPO will conduct two live sessions where the community can ask questions and have a discussion, just as you would if you were at the meeting in person!
